Research Overview

PhD working title: Improving the 3D reconstruction of palaeo ice margin geometry from geomorphology in rugged terrain

Supervised by: Prof Chris Clark and Dr Darrel Swift

General Aim: I am working to improve the methods used to produce 3-D reconstructions of palaeo ice margins from glacial geomorphology and sediments.

What does this mean?

I will be working towards resolving some key issues in the current methods of ice margin reconstruction and developing the use of glacial geomorphology and sediments for understanding the 3-D behaviour of palaeo ice sheets.

As I publish and present research at conferences I will expand this section and add more detail. For now please contact me if you would like more in-depth information.

If you have questions or comments regarding my research or would like to discuss data sharing or any other cooperative ventures, please email me using the address on my ‘Contacts’ page. More information can also be found in my entry on the University of Sheffield website.
